This slender and light Swan pen reminds us of the fact that elegance is first of all simple and not redundant. A gold filled slim  barrel with black ebonite cap is  simple and essential, though absolutely mesmerising.

The pen is an eyedropper filler of the early 1900s and it is fitted with an old fashioned under-over feeder and a superb flexible nib with a stub tipping. The nib is of extremely high quality, responsive and springy, offering a very wide and generous line for upward and downward strokes and a thin, clean horizontal line. It's great to write and to draw.

The pen is very slender and suitable for a feminine hand.
