The Myu 701 model was introduced in 1971. It was an innovative pen, created using advanced stainless steel deep-drawing and cutting technologies.

The most fascinating feature of this model is its special design, where the nib and grip section are machined out of a single continuous piece of stainless steel, with a futuristic look and a special  smooth grip.

The minimalist and unusual look of the pen is enhanced by the possibility to post the cap, which makes the pen longer and more comfortable to use.

The Myu remained in production till the early 1980s and was a very succesful model which became very popular worldwide.

Two rarer versions of the stainless steel Myu exist: one with black stripes and one with white stripes.

Black stripes are rare but not impossible to find, while white stripes are absolutely very very scarce.

This Pilot Myu with black stripes is in excellent condition with very minimal signs of use.
