The M200 was introduced in 1985 in a large array of colours, including colorful demonstrators. Dimensions are the same as the M400, which was also first produced that year. In 1997, the design of the M200 was revised and models made before this redesign are commonly referred to as “Old Style.”

In the new design, the crown on the cap was modified, and a trim ring was added to the filling knob.

The M200 is fitted with a steel nib.

The Cafe' Creme M200 was introduced in 2015. The nib on this model is gold coloured steel with a nice curling engraving.
