In 1997 Pelikan inaugurated a new series of pens called "Originals of their Time" which was meant to replicate some of the most famous Pelikan models of the past. The original models were copied in every detail, size, materials and even weight so that the new pens looked as similar as possible to their antique ancestors.

The first model of this series was the Pelikan Gold, manufactured in 1997 in 5000 pieces,  with a18 ct solid gold sleeve on the barrel.

In 1998 the 1935 Green Jade was issued, manufactured in celluloid in 4000 pieces. 

In 2000 the White Gold was issued, in 1931 pieces.

The next model was te 1935 Lapis Blue, which was manufactured in 2001 in 1935 pieces.

The series was completed in 2003 with the production of the 1931 Toledo, the most beautiful and desirable of the entire line. This pen replicates in every detail the original model T111 manufactured by Pelikan in 1931.

This Pelikan 1931 Gold Sleeve is in pristine condition and has its complete packaging. The nib is 18 not, grade M. Serial Nr. is 2606/5000.
