OMAS PARAGON ARCO BRONZE CELLULOID - ARTE ITALIANA COLLECTION

In 1991 Omas introduced the Collezione Celluloide; it was a glorious comeback to the use of celluloid after more than 20 years of resin.

The line  comprised facetted piston fillers with greek key cap band which were designed drawing inspiration from of the successful lines of Extra  lever fillers of the 1903's.

These pens were aesthetically very similar to the vintage Extras but for the filling mechanism and the nib: models from the 1930's were lever fillers and had 14 ct  single-tone Extra gold nibs, while the new pens were piston fillers with two tone  nibs with the outline of an arrow.

The range of colors comprised: jet black, royal blue, arco bronze, marbled burgundy, saft green, saffron and speckled gray.

The  line was then renamed in the following years and became Arte Italiana Collection. Beyond gold filled trims, HT and rhodium trims were added and the range of colors was enlarged with the introduction of saffron blue and burlwood.

This Omas Paragon with HT finish belongs to the Arte Italiana Collection. The pen is unused and comes with its complete packaging.

It is fitted with a rare Omas stub nb.
