OMAS PARAGON 556 with gold filled guillochè casing - prototype

This pen is a Paragon 556 with gold filled casing with guillochè decoration. It comes from the stock of the former US Omas importer and it has never been marketed.

Most probably this line of pens  (it comprises three sizes of fountain pens: Dama, 556 and 557 both with gold filled and silver colored casing with guillochè decoration as well as pencil, rollerball and ballpen in both finishes) had been designed on commission for the American market but it was never released.

These piece are therefore to he considered as prototypes even if they are not marked as such.

This Omas Pargon 556 is in pristine condition and unused; the overlay is perfect and the pen is ready to write.
