This precious Omas Ogiva with  golden ferns in Maki-E decoration is part of the “Pittura Contemporanea Collection” issued by Omas in the 1990s.

The collection comprises a series of 4 wood Ogivas decorated with 4 different techniques of Maki-e lacquer by the French artist  Josiane Monrosty. This pen is decorated with the Taka Maki-E tecnique and it is in perfect condition.

All the models which are part of this very limited Maki-E edition are extremely rare nowadays.
