In the 1960's Omas restyled the line of its top of the range models. The traditional 55X line was replaced by  three new models which had a rich greek key cap band. 

The small lady pens (corresponding to the former 555/F) were named Dama , the standard size (corresponding to  the former 556/F) was named Milord and the larger 557/F became Gentlemen.

Actually the only remarkable difference between the old line and the new models was basically the style of the cap band and the imprint on the barrels (which became simpler and with one single line). Size and design remained basically unaltered from the past.

The Gentlemen is nowadays one of the most desirable Omas writers in black celluloid along with its 557/F counterpart. The smaller Milord corresponds in size to the traditional 556/F  and it is perfectly suitable for a small male or a feminine medium-sized hand.

this Omas Milord in gray pearl celluloid is in superb condition and it is fitted with a fantastic super flexible nib which can go from generous F/M to B with a very gentle pressure.
