OMAS LUCENS BLACK SR. SIZE - THREE CAP BANDS

The Lucens model was introduced in 1936. It was originally produced with a greek key cap band and later with three cap bands.

The range of colors comprised black, marbled green, marbled gray, tortoise, marbled blue. A very few examples were manufactured in blue striped celluloid.

Black pens were available both with yellowish and reddish transparency of the barrel. The decoration of the barrel could have straight vertical lines (very rare), helicoidal lines or horizontal thin lines.

This Lucens is a senior size in black celluloid with reddish transparency of the barrel; the barrel is very clean and the helicoidal lines are very evident. The only flaw is that the imprint on the barrel has completely faded away.

The pen is fitted with the original Omas Extra 14 gold nib, which is smooth and flexible.
