OMAS GRAND PARAGON ARCO BRONZE CELLULOID

In the early 2000s, Omas reviewed the design of its Paragon model and introduce the Grand Paragon ( also known as New Style Paragon),  is a large and assertive pen, much bigger than the standard Paragon model (called "Old Style", with roller clip and with a traditional facetted design). The Grand Paragon has a more modern roller clip, is fitted with a different style of nib and it is suitable for a large hand. The section is in metal, which guarantees a very good balance in writing.

Next to it, a smaller version was offered, too. Sticking to its year-long tradition, next to the large Paragon Model, a smaller model was offered, called Milord. The New Style Milord has a similar design but has a celluloid section, thus being a much lighter pen to use.

The Grand paragon line was manufactured in a variety of materials (resin celluloid and wood) and with various finishes (gold filled, HT, ruthenium and vermeil). Sections can be simple metal, silver and vermeil, according to the color and material of the pen. Not every version exists in the Milord size, though.

This Gran Paragon in arco bronze celluloid with sterling silver section is a grail pen for most collectors.

The pen is pre-owned but in excellent condition and it comes with its Omas presentation box.
