OMAS EXTRA LEVER FILLER BLUE MARBLED CELLULOID - MEDIUM SIZE

Omas introduced the Extra model with lever filling mechanism in 1932 in a very wide range of colorful celluloids.

The model was available in three sizes both with a cylindrical and facetted design. The features of the model were the rich and elegant greek key cap band placed between two thin cap rings and a typical roller clip.

Among the many colors, a few are particularly rare and sought after by collectors: arco gray, arco bronze and blue marbled. 

This blue marbled Omas Extra is a medium size and is a pretty rare piece. Condition is very good, with some traces of brassing on the cap band and very slight traces of discoloration on the cap. The pen has a customisation on the barrel. the cap shows the "Accossano" name inside an oval as it was common for many Omas pens. Accossano was the most important Omas retailer in Rome at the time

It is a very nice writer with a flexible and pleasant F nib.
