MONTBLANC EDGAR ALLAN POE LIMITED EDITION - UNUSED WITH BOX

In 1998 Montblanc dedicated one of its Writers' Limited editions to te famous Amercian poet, writer and literary critic Edgar Allan Poe.

Born is Boston in 1907, Poe was the central figure of Romaticism in the Usa and  one of the earliest practicioners of the short story which he approached with a refined interest for mistery and for macabre aspects.

Poe is considered the inventor of the detective fiction genre and surely one of the most talented creators of suspence  in literature.

Montblanc chose a deep blue resin to celebrate this author, with the intention to evocate the  sense of mistery and nocturnal anxiety, typical of the Romantic soul.

The nib is decorated with the outline of a raven to celebrate one of Poe's most famous short stories  (The Raven, published in 1845)

This pen is unused and it comes with its original packaging in flawless condition.

Nib grades is M, as shown by the sticker on the pen.
