THE KING DREAM PEN - VACUUM FILLER - LAMINATED CELLULOID

The King pens were manufactured in Turin by the S.A.F.I.S. company. Production began in the early 1920s with safety pens in ebonite and later on with celluloid models in a variety of beautiful color combinations. The range of The King pens comprised also extremely beautiful safety pens with rolled gold overlay whose style differentiates itself from the mainstream production of all other Italian pen companies.

All The King products express a refined elegance and a choice of high quality materials and finish.They are to be considered among the best Italian pens ever.

Production continued till the early 1950s. In these late years The King models acquired a typically modern torpedo-shaped design, following the trend of the time. Models of this time were named Superior and Dreampen and were fitted with beautiful spear shaped nibs. Various colors of celluloid were used: arco gray, arco green and laminated celluloids in gray, green, orange and blue.

This The King Dreampen in orange laminated celluloid is a very nice and pleasant writer in very good condition.

The nib is fine and nicely flexible.
