DUNHILL AD 2000 CARBON FIBER - 1995 - NOS

In1994/1995 two major companies endeavored to use carbon fiber to manufacture pens: Delta and Dunhill.

Dunhill introduced the AD 2000 in carbon fiber in 1995 claiming that this was the first pen ever to be manufactured with this technolocial material which is both resilient, strong and durable.

In 1994, however, Delta had released its No-nuke model, a special edition in carbon fiber which was dedicated to the G/7 summit which was held in Neaples. The special editiOn comprised two pens, one in 9 ct gold and one in carbon fiber.

Although apparently coming in second, Dunhill offered a superb, top quality product with a very modern and fashionable torpedo shape. The writing unit was manufactured by Pilot while the rest of the components were made in Switzerland.

This Dunhill AD 2000 carbon fiber  fountain pen is unused and it comes with its compete packaging.

Carbon fiber is matched with titanium trim while the nib is 18 ct with rhodium finish.

Nb grade is M.
