AURORA 88 GOLD FILLED CAP - LOW SERIAL

The Aurora 88 was designed by the famous industrial designer Marcello Nizzoli and it was launched on the market in 1948. It has been one of the most successful models ever produced by Aurora ever since.

The line of digits on the back of the section indicates the number of pieces produced and the line can be very long; in 1952 Aurora in fact celebrated the production the millionth  Aurora 88. This pen shows 651421.

The 88 is a classical pen, very pleasant to use and perfectly suitable for everyday writing. The 14 ct gold nib can be very flexible even if it is hooded since the tines are very long.

This pen is in excellent condition: the cap has no dings, no brassing and the barrel is  very shiny and clean.

The pen comes with its original blue aluminum box and the instruction leaflet. The box has a small damage in the lower face, just some part of the color missing
