The Grand Paragon model was introduced in 2005 and it was meant to replace the traditional Paragon which had been Omas' flagship for 20 years. The new pen was designed to be bigger, more assertive and with a more modern look. The traditional roller clip, distinctive of Omas models for a very long time, was reviewed and replaced with a more futuristic looking straight  roller clip.

The slender, elegant look of the Paragon was transformed with the addition of a metal section and a more generous size of the pen. The New Style Paragon or Grand Paragon was manufactured both in resin and in celluloid and was fitted with 18 ct nibs made by Bock.

The model was used for a number of limited and special editions (Fashion Collection, Teatro di Modena etc) and was offered also in catalogues both with a silver or a metal section.

The grand Paragon is a design product, full of tradition yet definitely oriented towards the future.

This Omas Grand Paragon Noir Collection is manufactured in black resin with guilloche' decoration and ruthenium finish, which gives the pen a great charme.

The pen is unused and it is offered with its complete packaging.
