The Czar Nikolai I limited edition was introduced in 1997. It is a very elaborate series of writing instruments available both in vermeil and platinum plated in the LeGrand and Classique lines.

The caps are manufactured in green malachite which is considered the stone of the Russian Czars; the green stone is matched by green sections thus giving the model a very appealing look.
