MONTEGRAPPA EXTRA brown laminated celluloid - 1930's

Montegrappa Extra in brown laminated celluloid from the late 1930s. The celluloid is semi-transparent and extremely fascinating.
The pen is fitted with a 14 ct gold nib which is smooth and very pleasant to use.
The filling mechanism is activated by the patented Montegrappa mechanism. The turning knob is turned clokwise to create a pression on the inner sac. When the mechanism makes a typical "clack" sound, it means that the sac is full of ink and the pen is ready to write.
