OMAS LUCENS GREEN MARBLED - SR SIZE - SUPERB WRITER - F

The Lucens model was introduced in 1936 and represents Omas' reply to the trend towards large ink capacity pens with transparent barrels which was initiated in 1929 by Pelikan and then followed by all major pen makers.
The Lucens model was manufactured in three sizes and in a wide range of beautiful colors: gray marbled, green marbled, blue marbled, blue striped, gray striped, brown tortoiseshell and black.
The transparency of the barrel of Lucens models can have either a reddish or a yellowish shade, thus doubling the color combinations you can find on these pens.
This Omas Lucens in green marbled celluloid with reddish transparency of the barrel is a rare senior size in excellent condition with only very very minimal difference in the shade of color between barrel and cap.
The pen has a large Omas Extra nib with EF tip which writes like a dream,
