WATERMAN 412 1/2 SILVER FILIGREE

Early Waterman pens are powerfully charming and appealing for a number of reasons. They express the taste of an era and its technological level and, above all, they are fascinating writing instruments with highly performing nibs which are extremely pleasant to use.
This Waterman 412 1/2 from the early 1900s is a thin and very feminine pen (Waterman used the 1/2 suffix to qualify thinner models which were mainly dedicated to the feminine market). The silver trefoil filigree is in perfect condition with no damages nor scratches and the black ebonite shows very very limited traces of oxidisation.
Its early Nr. 2 nib is smooth and very flexible, grade is EF.
The pen is an eyedropper and would definitely enrich any Waterman collection.
