WATERMAN 56 RED MOTTLED EBONITE - STUB NIB

Waterman 5X models in ebonite are among the most interesting and appealing writing instruments  with bigger sizes being high end collectibles, too.

They were manufactured in black ebonite but also in mottled, cardinal red and ripple ebonites offering a variety of options for those who love this type of pens. Variety applies to nibs, too. They can be found with flexible or stiff nibs in the entire range of grades Waterman could offer. Generally larger tips are much rarer than standard F or EF nibs.

This Waterman 56 in mottled ebonite combines two aspects of rarity: it's a big size and it is fitted with a rare stub nib, which is extremely pleasant to use.

The pen is in excellent condition without damages. The only flaw is the feeder which is black instead of being in mottled ebonite.
