MONTBLANC 147 BURGUNDY - DISCONTINUED

The range of Miesterstuck burgundy writing instruments comprised all models  with the exception of the 149.  146 Le Grand,144, 145, Classique and Mozart were all produced in burgundy, including ballpoints, rollerballs and markers. Unforunately this beautiful resin was unstable and Montblanc had to deal with lots of items sent back from retailers because of cracks in the material.

In the early 2000s the line was discontinued.

This is the reason why burgundy Montblanc writing instruments in perfect condition are nowadays so rare and desirable.

This burgundy 147 is in pristine condition with no damages nor traces of cracks. The pen has hardly been used and it is in superb condition.

The 147 is a rare model which was designed to be used with cartridges and was dubbed "Traveller". Having a bottle of ink at hand when travelling may be complicated, while cartridges are much easier  and comfortable to use.

The nib on this pen is rigid with an F tip.
