In the 1986, Sheaffer introduced the Connoisseur line, whose design replicated the style of the vintage Sheaffer lifetime models. The first models were manufactured in England. Later models were named Grand Connoisseur and were marketed in 4 different finishes: tortoise lacquer, black lacquer, gold plated and sterling silver.

This Grand Connaisseur in sterling silver is  pre-owned but in pristine condition. The only flaw is a tiny area on the nib where the rohdiated finish has worn out.

Nib grade is  F.
