Waterman celebrated its120th anniversary of its founding in 2003, with the launch and distribution of a few commemorative models extending into 2004.
The anniversary was calculated from the creation of the brand in New York in 1883, when founder Lewis Edson Waterman developed the famous three-fissure feed system, designed to prevent ink leakage and officially patented in early 1884.
To mark this important milestone, Waterman released one of its most exclusive limited editions: the Waterman Edson 120th Anniversary Edition.
Only 4,000 numbered examples were produced worldwide.
This special version of the iconic Edson fountain pen has a sterling silver 925 body and cap, finely engraved with a striped guilloché pattern. These elements are combined with a sapphire-blue transparent resin grip section and a the distinctive 18-karat gold nib.
The pen is unused but it is offered without box. Nib grade is F
