UNBRANDED EYEDROPPER WITH MOTHER OF PEARL BARREL- GREAT EF NIB

In the early 1920s, pen makers embellished their ebonite pens with various materials, from solid silver and solid gold to gold filled, aluminum, abalone and mother of pearl.

When all pens were black, these additions made pens more desirable and precious; they also became easy to to distinguish  and remember.

Many early models of major companies  with mother of pearl and abalone embellishments are extremely rare and expensive nowadays, but there are many minor brands which do not command very high prices. These pens may be less famous and less refined than their more famous counterparts but can offer high quality nibs to enjoy and are aesthetically very fascinating.

This unbranded pen is one of these. It sports a beautiful and rich repousse' gold filled cap and a perfect mother of pearl barrel. The pen is in  excellent condition with no damages and it is fitted with a very pleasant EF "The Salz" nib, which is flexible and very smooth.

It is a very pleasant and fascinating writing instrument.
