The 556/F is a timeless classic as it offers simplicity, balance, elegance ad high quality writing. The model is very light in the hand and is fitted with an Extra Lucens nib which can be extremely flexible and in most cases, can write on both sides. These pens were introduced in the late 1940s and were offered in a variety of grades and with varying flexibility degrees but  generally very flexible F or EF nibs are most common. B nibs are extremely scarce.

This 556/F is in excellent condition with very limited signs of time and use. The nib is F , very flexible, responsive and really pleasant to use. If you decide to use the nib on the reverse side, you can have a smooth EF rigid tip. Really great fun to use!
