WATERMAN 0552 - PANSY PANEL
In the 1920s Waterman enlarged its offer of fountain pens marketing gold filled, sterling silver and solid gold overlays for most of its ebonite models. The patterns of decoration varied in time going from Art Nouveau to Art Deco with the addition of special, more sophisticated overlays which were offered for a very limited span of time or only is specific countries such as Italy and France.
This Waterman 0552 shows a beautiful hand etched Pansy panel motif which is typical of the American market. This pen is in very good condition with some minor damages to the clip and a damage con the cap top; it is fitted with a fantastic, super flexible Nr. 2 nib.
