COLUMBUS EXTRA 102 BLUE LAMINATED CELLULOD - NOS

Columbus pens are fascinating.
They offer a wide variety of designs and high quality celluloids and represent one of the most interesting chapters in the history of Italian fountain pens.
Mr. E. Verga, Columbus' founder, always chose the best and more fascinating celluloids for his models of the 1930s and 1940s, including arco red, arco gray, arco blue and arco green, wild and cracked ice, rich variegated three-color celluloids etc.
The models which were marketed in the 1930s and 1940s are all of extremely high quality, with beautiful nibs and nice metal trims.
This Columbus Extra 102 in blue laminated celluloid is part of the early 1940's production and is fitted with a superb Columbus nib which is smooth and very flexible. The filling mechanism is a reverse-syringe.
The pen is new old stock and has never been filled with ink.
